Water report 13th of July.

Stay away from the Shannon below Drumsna….it’s polluted. One angler Dave Pilgrim from Halifax fished the river in Roosky and in two hours landed three tiny perch and also reported dead and dying fish. He packed up and moved up to Carrick which is above Drumsna and caught over 35lbs of bream, roach, rudd and hybrids. He saw no dead fish at that venue. Many lakes are now fishing well. Des Taylor and I landed big bags of tench for the Anglers World film crew on a local lake to Roscommon. All were caught on stewed wheat and sweet corn. Silver fish responding everywhere now except below Drumsna to maggots and casters.
